The Handmades

$1,200.00

Artist: Trish Crampton

Medium: Acrylic on Belgium Linen

Size: 43 x 53cm

Framed: Yes

This series of still life paintings was created this year using my domestic, home environment

and my large collection of treasured vessels. Using a monochromatic palette and acrylic

paint, they are calm and contemplative. Each vessel has its own story and personality,

together they form little gangs and a dynamic within each grouping. Some vessels are strong

and bossy while others are timid and shy. My work is inspired by the Italian still life artist

Giorgio Morandi. I’ve always been interested in light and shadows and this is evident in my

work.
